As the Product Designer for Pilot, I was responsible for designing the complete mobile learning
experience from user flows to final high-fidelity interfaces.
My focus was to simplify the
driving learning journey while improving trust, usability, and accessibility for modern
learners.
What I Learned
This project helped me understand that good design is not just about creating visually appealing
screens it’s about solving real user problems in a simple and meaningful way.
While working on Pilot, I learned how important trust, clarity, and accessibility are in shaping
user experiences, especially for users who may already feel nervous or uncertain during the
learning process.
I also understood the value of simplifying complex workflows into clear step-by-step experiences
that users can easily follow without confusion.
Designing a mobile-first platform taught me how to prioritize usability, reduce friction, and
create experiences that feel guided, comfortable, and easy to use in real-world situations.
More than just a design project, this experience helped me improve my product thinking and
understand how thoughtful UX decisions can directly impact user confidence and overall
experience.
